By following an online video tutorial, I was able to create a crossword puzzle using Microsoft Excel. I made the crossword under the topic of history, as that is what I would teach as an educator. While the crossword is only shown in a picture format, it is possible to complete it on both the computer using the original excel fiel or on a printed out crossword puzzle. Using technology along side innovation and creativity allowed me to incorporate a customized learning activity as part of the learning experience.
